Refund policy

We want you to feel like the star of the show in every piece you buy. If your costume doesn't hit the mark or isn't quite the right fit for your performance, we are here to help you get it sorted.

30-Day Return Window

We offer a 30-day return period starting from the date your order is delivered. To be eligible for a refund or exchange, your items must be:

  • Unused and in their original condition (no signs of wear, makeup stains, or scents).
  • Returned in the original packaging with all tags attached.
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase or your order confirmation email.

Please note: If 30 days have passed since your delivery date, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or replacement.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons—especially given the nature of performance wear—we cannot accept returns for:

  • Wigs, hosiery, or intimate apparel that has been opened or tried on.
  • Items with visible wear or damage caused after delivery.
  • Clearance or promotional items marked as "Final Sale."
  • Items returned without their original packaging.

The Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll send you an email to let you know if your refund has been approved.

  • If approved: Your refund will be processed back to your original payment method.
  • Timing: It usually takes 10-15 business days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
  • Shipping Fees: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We take great care in packing your gear, but if we missed a step or the carrier was rough with your package, let us know! Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include clear photos of the packaging and the product so we can fast-track a replacement or a full refund for you.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. However, Beatnix US will cover the shipping costs if the return is due to our mistake, such as:

  • The item arrived damaged.
  • We sent the wrong size or product.
  • There is a verified manufacturing defect.

Order Cancellations

Need to change your mind? You can cancel or modify your order before it is processed and shipped. Once your costume has left our Chicago facility, it must follow the standard return procedure.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you’ve been notified of an approval but don’t see the funds yet:

  1. Check your bank account or credit card statement again.
  2. Contact your financial institution (processing times can vary).
  3. If you’ve done both and still haven't received it, reach out to our team.
